Microwave Caramel Popcorn

white Karo syrup2 tbsp

- heatproof microwaveable container

1Add brown sugar , white Karo syrup , butter , and salt to a heatproof microwaveable container that has room for the mixture to triple in size.brown sugar: 1/2 c, white Karo syrup: 2 tbsp, butter: 4 tbsp, salt: 1/4 tsp

2Microwave for ⏱️ 40 seconds , then remove and stir. This just gets the butter melted and everything combined. Microwave for ⏱️ 1 minute . Stir. Microwave for an additional ⏱️ 1 minute . This is when it gets really big.

3Remove from microwave and stir down. Add vanilla extract and baking soda and stir until it stops fizzing and bubbling.vanilla extract: 1 tsp, baking soda: 1/4 tsp

4Pour over popcorn and gently fold until well coated. Let cool in a bowl or on parchment paper.popcorn: 4 tbsp (popped)
